Viborg Animation Festival is created in collaboration with the creative environment that characterizes Viborg and has helped make the city a UNESCO Creative City within Media Arts. In this post, we focus on Plastic Collective, an artistic community that works at the intersection of art, technology and experimental formats.
During Viborg Animation Festival 2025, Plastic Collective presented the audiovisual installation Watering Minds (Marcell Mostoha, produced by Lana Tankosa Nikolic, Martina Scarpelli and Vela Klitgaard), which could be experienced in Viborg’s iconic water tower at Tingvej 1 in Viborg throughout the festival week. A sensual universe where digital and physical expressions merged and focused on reflection, immersion and new ways of experiencing art.
Plastic Collective is the originator of exciting artistic formats during Viborg Animation Festival year after year and is also the powerhouse behind several social activities and talks, which help create space for dialogue, knowledge sharing and meetings between artists, industry professionals and the audience.
Keep an eye on the programme calendar here if you are curious about Plastic Collective’s activities. You could also sign up for our newsletter if you want to be notified when there are new events and activities on the program.
