If you are arriving at the festival by car, there are good parking options close to the festival’s main venues. Most parking areas in central Viborg are free of charge, and the city is generally easy to navigate by car.
FLYING TO DENMARK
Viborg does not have its own airport, so all flights require onward travel by train, bus, or car. The nearest international airports are:

From Copenhagen to Viborg

Long-distance buses are often a cheaper alternative to trains and typically take 4–5 hours from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) or Copenhagen Central Station to Viborg. Operators include FlixBus and Kombardo Expressen.
Please note that bus tickets are often significantly cheaper than train tickets.
From Billund to Viborg
From Billund Airport, the journey to Viborg typically takes 2–3 hours using a combination of bus and train. Use rejseplanen.dk to find the connection that suits you best.
Taxis from the airport are also an option, although taxi fares in Denmark are expensive. Taxis can be booked through Dantaxi.
From Aalborg to Viborg

From Aarhus to Viborg
From Aarhus Central Station, the train to Viborg takes approximately 1 hour, with frequent departures throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased directly at the station or via rejseplanen.dk.
If you are travelling to Viborg from Aarhus Airport, please note that public transport from the airport to Viborg is inconvenient. The easiest option is to book a taxi directly to Viborg. This can be done through providers such as Dantaxi or Aarhus Taxi. Please note that taxi travel in Denmark is very expensive.

The festival’s main venues are centrally located in Viborg and within a few minutes’ walking distance of each other. Once you arrive in Viborg, it is easy to get around and take part in the festival’s various activities.
